During the third quarter of 2024, the top medical apps in Norway experienced varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at each app's trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Helsenorge, developed by Norsk Helsenett SF, showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from about 2.7K in early July and peaking at 4.5K in late September. The app maintained a strong user base with weekly active users fluctuating slightly but remaining around 60K to 64K.

Hjelp 113 by Stiftelsen Norsk Luftambulanse experienced a gradual rise in downloads, beginning at 1.7K and reaching approximately 2.8K by mid-September. Active users saw a similar trend, maintaining numbers between 14K and 17K throughout the quarter.

PatientSky, created by PatientSky AS, had a steady climb in downloads, with figures moving from 1.5K to over 2.1K by the end of September. Active users also increased steadily, ranging from around 4.3K to just below 5K.

HelsaMi from Helseplattformen saw a noticeable increase in downloads, particularly from mid-August, with numbers rising from 1.1K to nearly 1.9K, before settling at around 1.4K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Helseboka from HelseApps displayed a varied performance in revenue, starting with modest figures and peaking at $77 in mid-July. Downloads showed a significant surge towards the end of September, escalating from 908 to over 2.7K.
